The world is once again repeating the lie that The Land  - Israel, God’s chosen land - does not belong to the Jewish people.  And once again, the world is moving against Israel.  This time … it’s the Christians.  

On June 20th, while meeting in Jordan, the World Council of Churches (WCC) made a world wide proclamation calling for a two-state solution for peace between Israel and the Muslim world.  They called for the United Nation Sanctions against Israel to be upheld,  and for Israel to be cast out of The Land; for Israel to give back all the territory she occupies.  And, the WCC called for Jerusalem to be split.  They said, “Jerusalem must be an open, accessible, inclusive, and shared city for the two peoples and three religions.”  They said, “ ...that the Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories (the hills of Judea and Samaria) are illegal, and constitute an obstacle to peace.    

In other words, the WCC believes that it's Israel’s fault there is no peace in the Middle East.  

Why do I bring this up?  Because this is a big one!  When we are lining up the elements of the Last Days scenario, this is a big one.  

We’ve got Israel becoming a nation in just one day (May 14, 1948), as it says would happen in Isaiah 66:8.  That’s a big one.  And now we’ve got the World Council of Churches, who claims to represent 550-million Christians – the Protestants – the Presbyterians, Methodists, and Baptists … 340 denominations from around the world taking sides with the Anti-Christ.  That’s a big one!  

You and I know these people have left the teaching of the Bible.  Because when you read the Bible in context, and you take it as it is written, and you believe that God means what He says and says what He means, you know that Israel is the apple of His eye (Deut 32:10 and Zech 2:8).  You and I know that the enemies of Israel are going to come from all around the world and say, “The Land is ours!” but God is going to rise up and fight for His people and give The Land to Israel (Isaiah 11:11-12, Isaiah 43:5-7, Jer 16:14-15).  But, when the traditional, or known public church announces to the world that they’ve looked at this very carefully and come to the conclusion that Israel is the problem and they stand with the Muslims, then your alarm clock should be going off.  You should be thinking, “We must be closer to the end than I ever thought,” … because we are.  

Take a moment.  Read the WCC’s proclamation for yourself (www.mvcf.com/wcc.htm).  The WCC is very proud of their proclamation.  

But, then I want you to read Genesis 25:10 and see that Abraham bought Hebron.  I want you to read in Genesis 33:19 that Jacob bought Shechem.  And I want you to read in 2 Samuel 24:24 that King David bought the Temple Mount.  If anybody’s occupying land it’s the Muslims!   

In the days of Jesus, when Jesus was walking around Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria, what do you think He saw?  Did He see a mosque?  He couldn’t have.  The Muslim faith hadn’t started.  It didn’t begin until much later and didn’t get going strong until seven or eight hundred years later.  Did Jesus see a church?  No.  In the Capernaum He saw the synagogue, and in Jerusalem He saw The Temple on the Temple Mount.   

If the lie is big enough, and told often enough, the secular world will believe it.  The secular world doesn’t think about it.  They’re just fed lies and they believe them.  This lie has been told over and over and over,  and now the World Council of Churches has come out and said, “It’s true.”   Jesus warned us about days like this.  He warned us!  And now the only way to get around the lies, the only way not to be led astray, is to read your Bible.  You can’t just believe someone who says, “I’m a clergyman and this is what the Bible says.”  You’ve got to read your Bible.  You’ve got to read it as a whole complete work.  And you’ve got to read it in context.   

Folks, I can’t say it any more clearly, read your Bible, because we’re closer to being in Heaven than we’ve ever been before.  And you’ve got to see past the lies.  You’ve got to know the truth.  

Read your Bible.
